bpvalenzuelaEnglish1311: My name is Bianca Valenzuela and I am a sophomore at the University of Texas at El Paso. The topic that I have been working on in my English 1311 class is addiction to shopping. I chose this subject because I have seen it happen to many people that I know, including myself for a while. Although this might sound like something unrealistic it really isn’t. I have had this shopping addiction but I have been working on diminishing this addiction and it is slowly working. I have realized that there are more fun activities to do rather than spending my time and money on things that aren’t necessary. I am a member of the Women in Business Association at UTEP and I spend some of my time doing community service along with other members. I think this is much better because I get to help out people and I am also having fun with the friends that I have made in this organization.
